A new method of keeping bras clean!

BrassiAir is a spray that cleans and refreshes bra fabrics.  It is meant to reduce the frequency of washing the garment, thus extending its lifespan.

Our Story

BrassiAir was born out of frustration. Like most women, I rotate between 2 or 3 of my favorite fitting bras. But, due to the sweat of everyday life, I was having to wash them after nearly every wear. The process of washing and drying, though, causes the garment to lose its structure and ability to properly support breasts. If they went a day or two without being cleaned, I was restricting my ladies with grimy feeling fabric that often caused a light rash and detectable odor. I was in a dilemma: frequently buy an expensive new bra OR be uncomfortable throughout the day. I couldn't find a solution so that's why I created BrassiAir!

a tit-bit of information:

  • If taken care of correctly, bras are made to have a lifespan of about 8 months. Usually after that, they no longer properly support breasts, especially larger cup sizes.

  • Experts recommend washing a bra every 4 to 5 wears. However, most will say that washing every 2 wears is the best way to care for the bra. They say to hand wash in cold water and air dry. This is unrealistic, due to the busyness of life, so most women toss them in the washer and dryer REDUCING the lifespan of the garment. AND, most women admit to washing a bra once every 2 months! YUCK!

  • Bra rash is called Intertrigo. It is essentially a yeast infection caused by the moist and bacteria-ridden environment of skin against skin or skin against grimy fabric.

  • Nipples and breast tissue contain the same type of sweat glands that are found in your armpits. They are called Apocrine sweat glands and they are odor producing.

So, How Does BrassiAir Work?

Bras are clung to our moist skin for extended periods of time.  It is the perfect place for bacterial and microbial growth.  BrassiAir effectively breaks down oils, grease and dirt.  It kills bacteria and fungus.  It deodorizes the fabric and neutralizes acids and bases, making the ideal pH levels to extend the life of the fabric.  BrassiAir prevents color leeching and can soften the garment.  Most noticeable of all, BrassiAir refreshes your bra and makes it feel new for each new day!

Please note*  This product is not meant to permanently replace washing.  Instead it can reduce the frequency of washing and thus extend the life of the bra!
